The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl team went 3-1 Monday night.

The Chiefs beat host Jonathan Alder 300-110.

Oliver Moreland led the Chiefs with 80 points.

Jeffrey Smith tallied 40 points and Nolan Core added 10 points.

In the second match, BHS fell to London 225-200.

Moreland recorded 70 points and Smith added 10 points.

The Chiefs then dominated Jonathan Alder 400-105.

Each member of the team contributed answers in the toss up questions.

Moreland had a team-high 85 points.

Smith scored 35 points, Elliett Lang tallied 20 points, and Core added 10 points.

In the final match of the night, Bellefontaine outscored Tecumseh 330-105.

Moreland recorded 95 points, Smith had 25 points, and Core tallied 10 points.

The Chieftain Quiz Bowl team is 7-1 on the season.

The team will compete in a doubleheader on Thursday at Indian Lake vs. the Lakers and Urbana.
