BCS graduation set for tonight

The Bellefontaine High School Class of 2022 will graduate tonight.

The ceremony starts at 8 o’clock at AcuSport Stadium.

The commencement speaker is 2006 BHS grad Dak Notestine.

Mr. Notestine played football at Ohio University.

He went from a walk-on to a team captain during his 4 seasons as a defensive lineman.

Following his playing career, Notestine served as the strength and conditioning coach at Ohio University from 2011 to 2020.

He was promoted to director of strength and conditioning in 2014.

Currently, Notestine is the director of performance at Black Sheep Performance in Cincinnati where he trains elite athletes like Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and soccer standout Rose Lavelle.

Dak also works as a consultant to various strength programs across the country.

This year’s BHS Distinguished Alumni are Pat Ellis (Class of ’70), Keith Krieger (Class of ’71), and Randy Marker (Class of ’75).
