Bellefontaine City Schools is proud to announce its Thursday Tribe Member of the Week.
Mark Butler is this week’s recipient.
Title: Bellefontaine High School Chieftain Pride Lab Coordinator
Years of experience: 37 years in education, 1 year with Bellefontaine City Schools
Why you love being a Chieftain: Having the opportunity to interact & have a positive impact on the lives of students is most rewarding. Students continue to give me energy, make me laugh, and give me hope for a brighter future for our community.
Classroom motto or quote to live by: I have two quotes:
“People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
“It’s not what you do, it’s how you do what you do.”
What you love doing outside of school: I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, convertible rides with my wife, golfing (even though I’m not great), and gardening.
