The following is from Bellefontaine City Schools Superintendent Brad Hall.

Dear Families:

Social media, specifically TikTok, is encouraging individuals to complete monthly challenges and record the actions on their cell phone and post.

Many school bathrooms were damaged in September’s TikTok challenge. Below is one version of the upcoming challenges that has been published for TikTok users. Some of these challenges can be life-changing if done to the wrong person or place. Bellefontaine City Schools is encouraging you to please talk to your kids about these challenges and consequences.

The consequences for October’s challenge completed by students attending Bellefontaine City Schools will result in a 3 to 5 day suspension, unruly charges filed with Logan County Family Court, no cell phone access at school for the remainder of the school year, and the staff member has the right to press charges.

October: Smack a staff member on the backside

November: Kiss your friend’s girlfriend at school

December: Deck the halls and show your b***** (private parts)

January: Jab a breast

February: Mess up school signs

March: Mess up a courtyard or cafeteria

April: “Grab some eggz” (another stealing challenge)

May: Ditch day

We encourage everyone in Chieftain Nation to contribute to the positive culture we have always known and loved.

With Chieftain Pride,
Brad Hall
