3E Kickoff Event

Bellefontaine High School juniors and seniors learned more about their career options at the 3E kickoff event in the BHS auditorium on Friday.

What’s your E is the question being asked to Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside, and Ohio Hi-Point students this month.

The E stands for employed, enlisted, or enrolled.

The goal of the 3E initiative is for every student to have a plan before graduating.

During the school year students will have many opportunities to explore the different 3E options.

The five local schools have teamed up with the Logan County Collaborative for several events, including College Day, Career Day, Enlistment Week, and Career Speakers.

Friday’s event was led by Karen Sorreles from the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center and BHS marketing teacher Katie Rychener.

Sorreles said, “We want students to be successful in their career. We would like to have these students stay home in Logan County, too.”
