Bellefontaine High School future engineers participated in the TEAMS competition earlier this month.

TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) is an annual science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) competition that challenges high school student teams to work collaboratively to solve real-world engineering challenges, applying their math and science knowledge in practical, creative ways.

It is a collection of collaborative skill-building activities with teams of four students with three parts including design and build, multiple choice problems, and an essay. The scores from all three parts will be combined to determine rankings at the district and state level.

BHS had four teams this year including Milah Hunt, Audrie Sellars, Ellie Lloyd, Azlynn Bechtel, Sam Moreland, Beau Salyer, David Moody, Palmer Neeld, Carter Snapp, Declan Shannon, Max Varian, Jack Hutchins, Oliver Moreland, Nolan Core, Deston Darner, and Alex Argueta.

The TEAMS Club advisors are Kristy Mount and Nate Arbogast.
