Practiced to, two, and too in English Language Arts

Wrote sentences that contained only 2 letter words, 2 syllable words, or compound words

Drew or wrote about where you see yourself in 22 years

Read Tuesday by David Weisner

Created a drawing only using the number 2 https://i.pinimg.com/originals/64/8b/2c/648b2c901af7fcd61e0790a8a9bf9625.jpg

Engaged in fun exercises in sets of 22 (jumping jacks, wall push ups, squats)

Students in Mrs. Fowler’s class read the To, Too, Two story.

Whenever the word “to” was read, students passed the ball to the right. If the word “too” was read, they passed it to the person on their left. If the word was “two” they tossed the ball across the circle. Students had to listen to the context of the story to determine what they had to do with the ball.

Mrs. Daniels’ class celebrated Twosday with different math strategies using 2s and 22s including skip counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Students then took part in rotating through all of the third-grade classrooms completing different two-related activities all afternoon.
