Both students have qualified for the Logan County Spelling Bee at Riverside on January 20th at 6 p.m.

Sylvia will also take an online spelling and vocabulary test in January to advance toward the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Fissel is the son of Mark & Stephanie Fissel.

Julie Kurtz was the moderator at BMS.

Whitney Stolly was the judge.

Earlier this fall, Blakely Vollrath won the spelling bee at Bellefontaine Intermediate School.
