The Bellefontaine Elementary School parking lot is expanding.

Fulkerson Trucking and Excavating started work on the project this week.

The work will create an additional 20 plus spaces that will help, especially during preschool drop off and pick up.

The project is funded through the originally established building maintenance fund, not the general budget.

Crews are expected to finish the project by early July.
