Gratitude was on full display to wrap up the school year at Bellefontaine City Schools.

Initially, staff members from Bellefontaine Elementary School and Bellefontaine Intermediate School supplied breakfast to BCS bus drivers during Bus Driver Appreciation Day.

The bus drivers then wanted to give back.

Drivers also spoke to 5th-graders at BIS about transitioning to the middle school bus route next year.

BCS Transportation Supervisor Tammie Garman said, “Every driver came back and talked about how much they enjoyed the experience and expressed wanting to read to the students again.”

BCS has 13 full-time bus drivers, 2 bus aides, 2 substitute bus drivers, and 4 van drivers.
