Bellefontaine Elementary School second-graders enjoyed learning through the Measurement Olympics.
The unique reading and math activity recently wrapped up.
Students learned about Ancient Greece and their contributions to society, which includes the Olympics. During math, students learned how to use measurement tools and how to measure to the nearest inch, foot, and yard.
Students competed in four events: standing long jump, paper plate discus throw, cotton ball shot put throw, and standing high jump. Many students took home a medal for their efforts.
